Open up new avenues of funding by registering as a CIO

As the realities of lockdown 3.0 sets in, many organisations are set back (again) in their plans for the support of their services users as they grapple (again) with changing regulations and a shift to online engagement.

We have been supporting many voluntary and community organisations to register as charitable incorporated organisations (CIOs). This is a structure favoured by many funders and, as it is regulated by the Charity Commission, makes it easy for your organisation to be found on its register.

We were commissioned by Young Ealing Foundation and Young K&C to produce this short, easy-to-follow, step-by-step guide for groups wanting to become a CIO.

And, since the Charity Commission is currently progressing registration applications quickly, might this be a good way to kickstart your 2021?
